The OALC is a source for open adoption learning and resource materials. It was created by Jennie Painter in 2011. Workshops and tutorials are offered to all those interested in knowing more about this new family formation. See  OPEN ADOPTION LEARNING for detailed information on workshops and tutorials. “All About You”
All About You is a personal history about you for your child. There is one designed for birthmothers and one designed for birthfathers. It gives the birthparents an opportunity to record  their detailed familial background information in a user friendly booklet.  This booklet has been focus- tested, receiving positive feedback from both birthparents and adoptive parents. Adoptive parents have especially appreciated the booklet’s section on relationship/friendship patterns as it has helped them develop realistic relationship expectations.
